Description
This image represents much more than my new setup’s first light. For me, it marks a new beginning and a whole new level, both in terms of equipment and, above all, sky quality.
For the first light, I chose a single-panel image of the North America Nebula (NGC 7000) and the Pelican Nebula (IC 5070), acquired entirely during the Full Moon. I was amazed by the amount of detail captured. The full-frame sensor allows you to literally explore the image and keep discovering new structures wherever you look. The processing can certainly be improved… there’s still a long road ahead, but I truly feel this is just the beginning.
